IELTS for immigration to Canada?
I am currently applying for a Canadian worker pr specialist. I submitted my application in October 2006 but have not heard anything from CIC Singapore office. I wonder if I have to take the IELTS test for the application? Once again, I have not heard anything from the CIC and I confused about what to do ... Or should I just wait for the CIC to ask me to take the exam? I know there are some cases in which waiver of IELTS. Please advise, thanks ... For TQM Thanks for the info. I was using an agent (International KAM) but turns out to be a fraud and can not be contacted. So I decided to represent myself. I have no idea what the agent has done (apart from submitting my application.) I have only one file number with me. I'm screwed? Thanks
That depends on your application. Is this through: federal or provincial government? Canadian provincial different job applications, new things can change .. also depends on where you is requesting, as Montreal is not necessary coz IELTS speak French there. Normally, when you file your application a score of IELTS test is also included. Process starts out after all documents are in. It is best to go through a consultant who really helps you through the steps and tell you what happens and when. Even help with the interview process. Just a tip to immigration in Canada now .. A little hard to get into the cause of the financial crisis passes .. collar jobs blue maybe still ok, but if you are a college graduate and specialize in something specific, you may have difficulty being processed.
