Has anyone done cpr??
Im a lifeguard and yesterday i had to do cpr for the first time i had a 19 year old female have a major asthma attack and go into respiratory arrest. Im a serve asthmatic too so i know whats it like. She was the last person it the pool for the day and i was about to tell her that it was closing time but as she stopped i could she her fighting to breathe. i yelled to the other lifeguard and she call it in. i help the lady from the water and told her its ok i have my nebulizer at work she can use it me and the other girl lifeguard got her to the office when me neb was and i set it up and got the mask on her just after her second breathing threw the mask she collasped. the other lifeguard ran to get the ambu bag as i started mouth to mouth i gave about six breaths before she got back only to find the lady had lost her pluse so i removed her bikini top and started compressions while the other girl lifeguard did the bagging. We got her breathing agin and she survived has anyone done this 2
