i snore everytime i sleep, how can i get rid of that habit? coz i am disturbing others...?
if someone here knows how to get rid of it, plese give me an advice, because right now, i am always having trouble sleeping to somebody's house, like when my new girlfriend invited me to stay overnight to her palce, because i am ashamed and afraid that she'll be turnd off if she'll hear me snoring like a monster grrrrrrrrr....

i just read some reasons why people snore,
And i think the reason why i snored is maybe because maybe i breath through my mouth during sleep, and the air passage in my nose were blocked with phlegm...
I always have problem with my nose during sleeping because it produces phlegm, and i dont know why. i dont think i have colds because i dont feel having colds and besides, i already have this many years ago.
i think my problem is not the snoring, but my nose, i dont know what kind of illness this is...

Yes, Mako is right! If you try sleeping on your sides that is going to be a huge improvement. Both me and my guy snore loud!! If it wakes me up I have to nudge him and he has to turn on his RIGHT side. (He snores just as bad on his left side as his back.) If I get going and it wakes him up, he nudges me and I flip to one of my sides. I only snore when I sleep on my back. I've also noticed that my guy snores worse when he is especially exhausted.
He tried those Breathe Right strips that the first answerer mentioned but the problem with those is that they are kind of a pain in the rear to have to use with any consistency.
I think your best bet is to warn your girlfriend. Believe me, if my man had told me that he was one of the loudest snorers on the planet, and he is, it would not of changed the way I feel about him. Besides, I'm a heavy sleeper so it's no biggie.
