what does someone with serious debilitating mental problems do when they have no support?
I have mental problems that seriously affect my life and I dont know how to deal with them. my parents think im making it up and im dramatic, my siblings think im looking for attention and im the family "favorite", my bf told me ontop of all my problems if i started hallucinating hed just pack up and leave me because it would be too much for him to handle, and my psychologist (who my mother adores), refuses to admit to some of the problems i have. after years and years of serious mood swings she finally put me on a mood stabilizer recently, but i havent gotten it yet. i feel like someone who is falling between the cracks, i dont know what to do because im really alone but i dont feel capable and i dont have the strength to take care of these problems on my own, i feel so out of control of my life and alone, any advice?
no religious answers please, im not religious.
Ive been in hospitals before, by seriously debilitating i mean they're bad enough that i cant get my life together.
take control of your own life. change therapists. or take yourself somewhere to be checked out. you cant rely on anyone but yourself honey. step it up, and take charge. oh, and get a new boyfriend. if he threatens to leave you over helping and supporting you, he isnt worth it.
