In the newest movie version of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Facotyr, What do the sheep getting sheered mean?
I see that part allt he time and wonder what it is supposed to represent.
Any ideas?
It's the part where they are in the elevator and they go past a room with big pink fluffy sheep getting sheered and their wool gets put into a suction machine and Willy Wonka (played by jonny Depp) says, "I'd rather not talk about this one".
What does he mean?
At first, i thought it could be about cotton candy, but then cotton doesnt come from sheep now does it?
So, Why is it then that Willy Wonka doesnt want to talk about that particuliar room?
What is it suppossed to reprecent?
Any ideas?
I don't remember this scene (my memory is horrible) but I too think they were making cotton candy. Perhaps he doesn't want to talk about it because they're basically making candy out of an animal's fur? Not everything has a deeper meaning.
