Best baby wrap for someone who is handicap?
I use forearm crutches and would like to make having a new baby as easy as possible. I would love to use a babywrap, but I don't want to buy one where I would need my hands free to support.......any suggestions?
I had a sling and a snuggly but both were hard on my back and not necessarily "hands free."
I started searching the Internet for something similar but more supporting so that you can secure the baby to your body (not get a backache) and still have your hands free for the crutches.
Parentts of Invention has The Ultimate Baby Wrap which supports the child much closer to you and wraps around your back and shoulders to help support the weight of the baby and still allows for "hands free carrying." The website has a short video on how it wraps around and it looks very supportive and comfortable.

I started looking for customer reviews and found some on Amazon.com. The majority of the people raved about how wonderful it was and also mentioned being "hands free.". Only one negative review in the bunch...the rest were extremely positive and helpful.

There is another similar baby wrap called the Moby Wrap. They had similar "rave reviews" but it also had this instructional manual online that shows a lot of ways to carry the baby that you could save and/or print.
